The Warrior course, the newest 9 holes at Redstone, is absolutely deplorable. If you like a cow pasture (literally) converted into a wannabe Links-style course, with nearly knee high rough just about everywhere you look except for the tee boxes, fairways, and greens, where they don't even bother to collect the clippings when they do give the rough it's once a year (maybe) cutting, where there are little clumps of crab grass in the hard, very fast greens, where you'll need a hammer to get your tee into the ground on the tee boxes, where if you tend to spray your shots even a little bit you'll lose lots of balls and shoot one of the worst scores of your life, then maybe, just maybe you'll enjoy this course. But amateur golfers will find this to be among the worst 9 holes of golf they've ever played. That was certainly my experience, and I'll never play this course again. The other 3 nines at Redstone aren't bad. The older 18 holes on the North side of Goss Road (opposite side of road from the club house) can actually be very fun, but this particular nine was and apparently continues to be a bad idea.

8/10 - Grass is coming in slowly, still a few weeds and bare spots. But overall still a great value. Should be in great shape in a couple of weeks.
