| Player Notes: | Ball #1. Course started on the back 9 today. Noticed that I feel like I\'m leaning left/on top of the ball when I top my clubs, specifically the 5 hybrid. I tried leaning right/away from the ball on 18 and the 3 hybrid went the way it was supposed to. Topped the 5H twice in a row on tee shots on hole 3 and 16. Insane the number of shots I had that ended up right beside each other, good and bad. Good for consistency, bad for corrections. Think I understood the \"reaching\" or extending the club thing, I feel like as I drive through the ball I\'m turning my shoulders very quickly which might be causing stuff to go left. I tried to keep my shoulders square at the ball for longer kinda reaching through the right shoulder instead of turning the left and it seemed to help on a drive. Driver alignment feels very off. Had 2 or 3 shots where I was like 10-15 degrees offline from where I thought I was. If I line up intuitively it does okay, but trying to align my feet and stuff screws everything up. Focusing on the back of the ball helps for swinging, makes my putting way worse. Not sure if its worth tinkering with or just leaving my putting the way it is. | ||
