| Player Notes: | First time I played a front or back nine without losing a ball! 3:20 tee time start. Only played 9 because it was cold and windy, hands were frozen. Played 2 balls through 4 then played 1 ball because I paired up with the group behind me. The scores recorded here are the first ball through the round even though my second ball was better through 4. 1: 6 Stingerish a little left, off the fairway a bit in that fallen tree. 6 Iron into the bunker on the right, kinda picked it clean and it ran long. 3 putt. 2: 7 Iron shaped kinda left into the shit on the left by the tree (up front tees). 60 degree in, 2 putt. 8 iron is definitely the play when the tees are up here, everything else runs long even if it wasn\'t left. 3: 5 Hybrid topped left, almost identical to where it was last round... and the round before that. Smacked an 8 iron long into the back bunker (random club to pull it outta the weeds, didn\'t think/measure distance), picked it clean out of the bunker, 2 putt. 4: Driver went straight but I was aligned left. 5 hybrid outta the crap, A wedge up into the grass bunker left, 60 degree onto the green, 3 putt. Pin placement was way back, shoulda taken more club and ran it deeper. 5: Driver right side of fairway. 8 iron layup, A or P wedge into the bunker on the left of the green(was in to a LOT of wind). 2 shots to get outta the bunker and I picked it long. 3 putt. Tee shot and fairway shots were good, unfortunate landing in the bunker otherwise it would have been a GIR and probably par. 6: 6 Iron a little left but still in line, bounced off the hill into perfect fairway position. P wedge in I think for GIR, 2 putt. 7: Topped the 7 straight like 50 yards. 60 degree JUST made it over the bunker, 2 putt for bogey. 8: Driver left on fairway, misaligned again I think because it was pretty straight flight path. Beautiful 3 Hybrid somehow into 60 degree GIR with probably a 5 foot birdie putt but a treacherous downhill. settled for an easy 2 putt par. 9: Driver hard left off the tee into the trees/other fairway. 3 hybrid topped like 20 yards. 5 hybrid hit kinda left. 9 iron right and short of the green, 60 degree on. 2 putt. | ||
